The exhibit is presenting an extensive selection of available screen pages for various applications in pipe, profile and plate extrusion as well as for pelletizing on a 24-inch, 16:9 Full HD touch screen.
Proven quality with innovative software components for the Chinese and Asian market
“Our customers place a high value on premium, ‘made by KraussMaffei Berstorff’ quality. We are living up to this expectation with the new C6 control system by combining years of experience in proven functional features with the latest software technology,” explains Michael Hofhus, Head of Sales and Service at KraussMaffei Berstorff in China. The C6 control system is equipped with the latest multitouch technology and state-of the-art hardware components. A capacitive 21-inch, 16:9 Full HD touch screen provides a very clear picture and intuitive operation. Core functions of the advanced C5 control system are still included. “Our customers enjoy all the advantages of a high-performance and reliable program platform for controlling and monitoring an entire extrusion line,” emphasizes Hofhus.
Maximum flexibility—even for complex systems
The new control system offers the user an incredibly high level of flexibility. Parameter pages can be freely configured; moreover, customized display texts can be created. In addition, system components can be switched on or off based on requirements. The C6 control system is capable of directly controlling up to seven extruders. If multiple extruders are combined into one machine, almost any system complexity can be displayed. Various models are available as operating versions: the swivel-mounted version (as the standard version), the boom-mounted version and the mobile version (both as optional versions).
Simple and flexible conversion
Each system equipped with the C5 control system can be converted or upgraded to the C6 version with minimal effort. Essentially, only the main components of the control system need to be replaced. “In addition, we guarantee continuous support and a corresponding supply of spare parts from our location in China,” says Hofhus.
