HEUFT SYSTEMTECHNIK GMBH has recently unveiled new technology at the 2019 UPAKOVKA, the no.1 trade fair in Russia for Packaging and processing machines. The German company demonstrated the incredible capabilities of their new generation leakage check technology, the HEUFT squeezer II QS. This device achieves more when identifying leaks in PET and HDPE containers due to the most up-to-date version of the automated HEUFT SPECTRUM II device.

The machinery has a process which involved an extra-long belt drive which guides, rotates and presses them together by applying the right amount of pressure. The long belt drive applies to the inspection path available, increasing the precision of the comparative fill level detection in a non-compressed and compressed condition. The squeezer technology ensures that plastic packages do not leak.

The sensor technology used to measure the containers’ internal pressure is even more sensitive that previous versions and the HEUFT FinalView II CAP has been integrated into the leakage check of the new generation. The HEUFT FinalView II CAP conducts an accurate 360° closure inspection.

The UPAKOVKA exhibition took place from the 29th of January until the 1st of February 2019, at the Expocentre Moscow. The exhibition served as a showcase for packaging machines and devices, packaging machines and devices, packaging materials, packaging production aids, machines and equipment for the production of packaging and packaging aid, machines and equipment for beverage production, machines and equipment for the production of pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, automation technology and more.  The event attracted 24 950 visitors and featured 250 exhibitors over an exhibition space of 3.500 m².  The event targets individuals from the food and beverage industry, confectionary and baking industry, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, consumer goods, industrial goods, and services.
