The US branch of KraussMaffei has announced the appointment of a new president. KraussMaffei Corp, which is based in Florence, Kentucky, has announced that Charlie Rogers will be taking on the mantle, replacing Paul Caprio, who left the company in June 2019. Rogers started his role as president in early September.
Rogers has more than 20 years’ experience in the industry, after receiving a degree in Mechanical Engineering at Georgia University of Technology and an MBA from Chicago University. Rogers spent the next two decades working for various firms and his most recent position was as the general manager at John Bean Technologies corp., a food machinery and airport equipment company.
In his new position Rogers will be reporting to Micheal Ruf, chief operating officer (COO) of the KraussMaffei Group. “We are pleased to have found an experienced manager in Charlie Rogers who will use his expertise to expand our U.S. business,” said Ruf.
KraussMaffei Corp. is the US subsidiary of the Munich-based machinery manufacturer KraussMaffei Group GmbH. The company manufactures injection moulding machines, extrusion lines and polyurethane processing equipment.
From all of us here at Plastic and Chemical Trading, we would like to welcome Rogers into the KraussMaffei family and we would like to wish him the best of luck as he takes on this important position. We would also like to wish Paul Caprio all the best in his future endeavours.
